One of the biggest Kashubian tourist attractions has just been opened!
It took over a year to complete the construction work of the settlement in Salutowo. Eight themed wooden cottages have been built to show how Slavic tribes settled in Pomerania. Different types of tools and objects which were used in a daily life can be found in these cottages. There is a baker’s house, saddler’s house and an amber house. There are also three towers, archery stands and an educational path. The settlement is surrounded by a wall of wooden stakes. There is also an exhibition of ancient Slavic craft. It is also worth listening to Slavic music or discovering different facts about medieval warfare while visiting the settlement.
Salutowo is 10 kilometres away from Puck.
